I had a misfire in qualifying and was disappointed to be 16th overall and only 3rd in class, the offending plug was changed so I would have a bit of work to do in the race.

I had a great start and went into a class lead I had some close side by side racing with Gareth Williams - in his father's '64 GTO. For fear of damaging cars I had to give way when Gareth chopped across my front at the second chicane. As he pulled away I had to be satisfied with another second, but do have a splendid framed Ferrari accelerator peddle as a trophy.

Thanks to everyone who came up and said how much they enjoyed seeing my TRC, we all had a great time and I look forward to more races next year.
