8, this is no standard car. Shown here at Oulton Park
with me at the wheel, trying to keep the more nimble,
less powerful but much lighter Caterhams at bay. The
owner (Keith Ahlers) and I shared the car in many one
hour race. Seen
here in '98. In
1999 at Oulton Park the car stalled on me at the start,
everyone missed me except the last car. The Morgan sustained
damage to the left rear corner. The
car did exactly the same to Keith in his race, everyone
missed him, he went from last to third and he was rewarded
with driver of the day! The
integral roll cage helping to triangulate the chassis
creating a car with good manners and road holding. "Oh
what joy". Thanks Keith.
