The Shrike
P15, a Sports 2000 race car. I
first raced the unique Rawlson, but after a crash at Castle
Combe, and because
of the lack of time bought this P15 Shrike. Not
until I had driven this Nelson tuned 2 litre Pinto engine
car, did I
realise how bad my Zakspeed/BSR engine
was. The
Shrike felt nervous compared to the Rawlson. Although
the Rawlson was heavy, and didn't have the best of engines,
in retrospect it never did rev freely, I did have some
good results and a fab time with it. If
only I still had them both, now we have this resurgence
in S2000.
